![]() Here's a little secret about the ASVAB: the ASVAB is what we in the test preparation field call a general aptitude test. Interactive ASVAB Practice Test Questions Learn How to Quickly Solve Difficult.Something that's not mentioned there is that if you hit just "/", it will automatically place your cursor at the YouTube search bar. ![]() If you want more shortcut keys, use "?" or shift + / to view other aspects of the YouTube video you can control via shortcut keys. You can also activate it by hitting the "c" key. This is also accessed under that same gear icon, under "subtitles". If you find yourself having trouble listening to some videos at high speeds, closed captions might be of great help, but be aware that not every video has this. I can't tell you the amount of time this has saved me. "Playback Speed" for YouTube videos, can be accessed via the little gear that pops up at the left corner of the video when the progress bar shows, but if you really want to take productivity up to 11, hold shift +, (essentially the key ) to increase playback speed. They'll completely change your study life for the better. Any time you use any video source to study, be aware that "playback speed" and "captions" exist. I highly recommend using ASVAB for Dummies to guide you into which math concepts you should learn, but if you find the explanation in the book insufficient, go here. It's definitely not all I would use to pass MC, but again, a solid startĭoesn't matter whether or not you use the this site, or the videos directly from Youtube, but this tends to be a pretty solid source for the Mathematics Knowledge and Arithmetic Reasoning section. Mometrix has some study guides on Youtube for some of the subtests, I mostly used the practice questions and the Mechanical Comprehension video. It's worth mentioning that some of these are also just straight up questions compiled from other sources. I also ended up searching for practice test via Youtube. I don't have a link for this one, because there's too many to count, but google "asvab quizlet" or something along those lines and you find a bunch of flash cards and practice tests for the ASVAB, be warned though that these are often times just copied from one of the aforementioned websites, ASVAB for Dummes, and/or Kaplan book. The selection on this website is also not super expansive, and I'd argue that the Arithmetic Reasoning and Mathematic Knowledge sections in particular are probably a little too easy, but I'd say it's still worth doing.Īlso has a fairly small selection - only fiveish questions per subject, but it's quick and easy, and provides instant feedback as well This site also has a pretty nice selection, with two test per subject. It can be a tad glitchy at times and not count a question you answered, but if it does this, it'll just have you answer that question a bit later. It also provides instant feedback on answers. This website has a fairly nice selection, with 2 -3 tests for most subjects. ![]() Not a particularly expansive selection and randomized, this will give you a very brief test with one to two questions from each of the subtest. Also like Union Test Prep it comes with a study guide. Like Union Test Prep, these questions give instant feedback on your answer. So keep in mind you may have to supplement it with some googling However, this website doesn't bother to explain the answers at all. I highly recommend that with these other resources, you use a timer app on your phone to simulate the timed aspect of the test. This one's got a little more questions in it's test bank than 4tests, in addition, the test are randomized, and even have a timer. I personally don't mind, and prefer the feedback being immediate. When you answer the questions, it gives you instant feedback on your answer with an explanation. In addition, there's even flashcards, though I haven't personally used these. They even have a short study guide for each section here. 50 practice questions for most of the material. Union Test Prep is also a pretty solid resource. 4Test is one that seems to come pretty highly recommended. Practice Tests - tl dr google "asvab practice test", just do everything you can get your hands on, but if you want something slightly more curated. In addition to these, I pretty much used any testing site I could get my hands on If you want a lot more in depth though Kaplan ASVAB prep book is pretty solid. My recruiter gave me the ASVAB For Dummies pdf for free.
